Donation-Based Silent Meditation Mini-Retreat

Come bask in silence and clear out the old from 2025 with this donation-based silent meditation mini-retreat with Sara Syed on NYE 12/31 from 12pm-4pm.

This donation-based event is meant to provide people with the opportunity to sit silently and process the previous year before stepping into 2026. This practice will help participants enter 2026 with more clarity and inner peace.

The mini-retreat will begin with some journaling prompts to help you reflect on the previous year.

Following the journaling sessions, there will be one hour silent meditation sessions with 15 minute restroom breaks after each hour — totaling 3 hours of silent meditation.

This event is open to all people interested in clearing their minds, working through mental blockages and bagged, and who are ready to let go of the past.

Meditation cushions and bolsters are available to use during this event, and you are also welcome to bring your own items as well (meditation cushion and blanket/shawl).

This is a universal meditation technique where awareness is focused on the breath for prolonged periods of time to allow the “excess” to come to the forefront of the mind so it can be released.
