Drew Llewellyn was a senior at ECU when he was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. During his fight with cancer, he required many, many units of blood - never waiting a minute because our community volunteers took the time out of their busy schedules to donate a pint for those in need.
Fighting cancer is not for the faint of heart - one needs every advantage they can find. Blood products are one of those advantages. Drew knew that through the goodness of many hearts, he had available precious blood products to help make his day better and increase his chance for survival.
