Back for Year Three: Putting Things in Order – A Matter of Life and Death
We’re pleased to announce the return of Putting Things in Order: A Matter of Life and Death (PTO) for its third year.
This year PTO will be offered as a four-part workshop series. This new mini-series format gives participants the opportunity to engage more deeply with key end-of-life and estate planning topics, one session at a time.
These workshops are designed to help individuals and families take practical steps toward putting their affairs in order with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Each session will focus on an important area of planning and provide helpful information to support thoughtful decision-making.
This year’s sessions include:
• May 30, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Final Arrangements: Planning with Peace of Mind
• June 13, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Advance Directives: Making Your Healthcare Wishes Known
• July 25, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Asset Protection: Securing What You’ve Built
• TBD | Estate Planning: Protecting Your Wishes, Avoiding Probate
The first session in the PTO series will be Final Arrangements: Planning with Peace of Mind on May 30 at 10am in the Former Sanctuary. In this workshop, participants will discuss and begin documenting their final wishes. We will help attendees understand the funeral planning process, explore the types of funeral services available, and begin identifying the information and personal details they would like included in their obituary.
Whether you attended in previous years or will be joining us for the first time, this series offers valuable guidance on planning ahead, protecting your loved ones, and making your wishes known.
