Don River Railway 50-Year CelebrationThe event heavily focuses on showcasing as much of Tasmania’s Railway History & Transport history both past & present.
The event promises to be one of the railways largest in history and will feature the biggest collaboration of Visiting Railway Locomotives in Tasmanian History.
Make the most of this one of a kind opportunity to see everything we have available running, with features from all around Tasmania & great access around the site & workshops.

Steam Locomotive ABT3 & C22 will work the passenger trains across the event, supplementing the Don River Railways own locomotive fleet.
While Wee Georgie Wood & the Krauss will feature on a 2 foot gauge live steam demonstration line in our yard.
