Embrace the charm of the past with heritage demonstrations, games, and other timeless activities. Experience how Prince George would have celebrated in the past by taking part in our schedule of races and eating contests for all ages, then mark the day with the entire family by getting a slice of complimentary birthday cake to mark Canada's 159th birthday!
Our old-fashioned Dominion Day celebrations kick off with a pancake breakfast that runs from 10:00 to 12:00. Afterwards, get a hot dog or hamburger lunch from the barbeque, or bring a picnic to enjoy beside the scenic Fraser River as you listen to some live music courtesy of the Knotty Mountain String Band!
If you're an animal lover, you'll love visiting with the cute farm animals from the PG Mobile Petting Zoo! The petting zoo will be running from 11:00 to 3:00, making it the perfect time to meet some goats and bunnies!
Join in heritage demonstrations such as ice cream and butter making with our staff. Learn about cheesemaking from Tracey Johnson of Cheeseneeds.com and chat with Dave Godber from SilverTree Woodworking about the pole lathe. Afterwards, learn the history of the site by taking a self-led tour, or join in a guided tour with one of our knowledgeable staff members.
End the day by making a festive craft in the Welcome Barn, and don't forget the General Store is open for sweet treats and locally made items!

Huble Homestead is dog friendly and open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm for guided tours and shopping in the General Store. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family. We're closer than you think!
