Dolma & Baklava Masterclass and Dinner with Ozlem Warren

Özlem’s work champions regional Turkish dishes, treasured family recipes and the joy of cooking with simple, seasonal ingredients.

Inspired by her newest book, Istanbul, this immersive masterclass invites guests to roll up their sleeves and learn two beloved staples of Turkish home cooking: handmade pistachio baklava and classic stuffed vine leaves with sour cherries (dolma).

Under Özlem’s expert guidance, participants will work step by step through each recipe — from handling delicate pastry and building perfect layers, to shaping and flavouring vine leaves with confidence. Along the way, Özlem will share tips, techniques and the cultural history behind these dishes, offering insight into the flavours and traditions that define Turkish cuisine.

After the hands-on making session, guests will sit down to a convivial shared meal including:

• Stuffed vine leaves with sour cherries and cigar shaped cheese börek
• Meatballs with aubergine, served with pilaf and dips, such as Acuka and Cacik.
• Baklava with pistachios
• Turkish coffee, freshly prepared by Iley Ozerlat-Gunduz owner of Ozerlat UK with cherry liquor

Copies of Özlem's new book will be available to purchase on the night, which the author is happy to sign.
