Dokumenttikillan Dokkariklubilla esitetään keskiviikkona 19.8. klo 17.00 elokuvateatteri Kino Konepajassa dokumenttielokuva POHJOINEN INTOHIMO.
Näytöstä seuraa keskustelu, johon osallistuu elokuvan ohjaaja Markku Heikkinen. Keskustelun teemana on "Kuinka lähelle toista pääsee – intiimiys dokumenttielokuvassa". Keskustelua johdattelee Dokumenttikillan hallituksen puheenjohtaja Maija Hirvonen.
HUOM!!! Näytös järjestetään Kino Konepajalla Vallilassa elokuvateatteri Orionin ollessa suljettu toistaiseksi remontin vuoksi.
Elokuvan katsomisen jälkeen keskusteluosuus pidetään Kino Konepajan aulabaarin puolella, missä on mahdollisuus jatkaa Q&An jälkeen vielä sosialisointia vapaamuotoisissa merkeissä. Paikalla on Dokumenttikillan hallituksen jäseniä on paikalla varmistamassa, että juttuseuraa löytyy. Tarkoitus on tarjota matalan kynnyksen verkostoitumismahdollisuus rennoissa merkeissä.

Perunanviljelijäparin tuore suhde pohjautuu avoimuuteen ja rehellisyyteen. Biseksuaalisuutensa kohdannut viisikymppinen Petri opettelee olemaan uskollinen itselleen ja totuudellinen puolisolleen. Anulle Petrin toiveet oman intohimonsa toteuttamisesta herättävät uudella tavalla
kysymyksiä omista toiveista ja vaatimuksista parisuhteessa.
Pohjoisen tyhjien maisemien alta paljastuu miesten maailma, joka on yritetty pitää salassa niin puolisoilta, ympäröivältä yhteisöltä kuin osin myös itseltään.

The Finnish Documentary Guild’s film club Dokkariklubi presents the film “Arctic Circle of Lust” on Wednesday the 19th of August, at 5.00 pm at the cinema Kino Konepaja.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director of the film, Markku Heikkinen. The theme of the discussion is "How close can you get to another person – intimacy in documentary film." The discussion is moderated by Maija Hirvonen, chair of the board of the Finnish Documentary Guild.
Note!!! The venue of the event is Kino Konepaja in Vallila, since Cinema Orion is temporarily closed due to renovation work.
After the film screening the Q&A session will be held in the lobby bar of Kino Konepaja, where you are welcome to also stay for casual socializing after the Q&A is over. Representatives from the Finnish Documentary Guild's board will be there to ensure everyone has someone to chat with. The aim is to offer a low-threshold networking opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere.

The potato farmer couple's fresh relationship leans on openness and honesty. FIfty-year-old Petri has faced his bisexuality and is learning to be truthful to his partner and himself. For Anu Petri's
desire to fulfill his own passions raises new questions about her own desires and expectations in their relationship.
Beneath the vast northern landscape is a hidden world of men, which they have tried to keep secret from their spouses, the surrounding community, and, to some extent, even themselves.
