About the Event:
Come out for a day of fun, fitness, and furry friends! Our rescue will be attending with adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes. Dog Fest will feature three powerlifting events, and you can lift in as many as you’d like! Each event costs just $5 to participate, with all proceeds benefiting the fundraiser.
Event Details:
• Free to RSVP; pay for events on-site via cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
• Event lasts 5 hours.
• Free venue parking.
• Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Lifting Events:
1. One Rep Max: A powerlifting meet-style event with three attempts to reach a max deadlift using a Kabuki deadlift bar.
2. Car Deadlift: Deadlift a truck (Suzuki Samurai or Bronco) as many times as you can! Great practice for Harvest Heavyweight.
3. Last Person Standing: Using the Rogue Trap bar, pull singles until you can’t anymore. Weight increases every round.
Whether you’re lifting or coming by to meet some adoptable dogs, it’s sure to be a fantastic day for all!
