Join us for the premiere of Sukwi'sim (Auntie’s Place), a new documentary about Mi’kmaq traditions and cultural reconnection, from the PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation’s Island Digital Voices series.Friday, September 26, 2025

Admission by donation, suggested donation of $10.00 (all proceeds to the Aboriginal Women’s Association in support of their Healing Lodge).
This inspiring film tells the story of Madlene Sark and the Sukwi'sim Healing Lodge, a sanctuary rooted in ceremony and healing for Indigenous people, families, and future generations.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Madlene Sark, giving the community the chance to hear directly from the visionary behind the lodge.
