'Do Wildness: Myth, mystery, and mischief' book launch
About this Event
Can we find wildness in the heart of London? Do myths have a role in our modern world? What are the birds trying to tell us? Why is poetry our greatest companion?
Join Australian writer and wilderness guide Anna McCracken as she introduces her new book Do Wildness: Myth, mystery and mischief, and learn how to reconnect with ancient wisdom and the natural world, from birdsong to stargazing, mythology and poetry.
Come and hear about Anna’s journey from the remote deserts of Australia to the bustle of New York, and raise a glass with us to celebrate the launch.
Ticket price includes refreshments courtesy of Marker - the writing tool for people who believe in writing!
- Please note: Our Oxford Street Poetry Ph*rm*cy is a lively retail space within Lush, rather than a traditional seated event venue. Events have an informal, relaxed atmosphere and there may not be seating available for everyone, so please be prepared to stand or move around during the event. As the wider Lush store remains open, there will also be some background noise and activity around us.
