2026 Catfish Tournament Rules
Location for sign-ups will be at the Duck and Drake, 7038 Pymatuning Lake Road Andover, OH starting at 5:30am the day of the tournament. (Rules meeting at 6:30am)
No stringers allowed, you must have a functional live well or aerated tank.
Live wells or aerated tanks and boats will be checked prior to the tournament.
Inspections of the boats and tanks will be done at Birches Boat Launch across from the Duck and Drake during sign-ups, and your sign-up paperwork will be initialed once inspection is completed.
6 rod limit for a 2-3 person team - 3 rod limit for a 1-person team (Youth will count towards your team)
1 team per boat and only team members are allowed in the boat
Weigh-ins will be held at the Birches Boat Ramp beginning at 3:45pm till 4:30pm.
You must be at weigh-in 30 minutes after tournament has ended or you will be disqualified.
Weigh-in will be 3 largest channel catfish, with a side pot for flathead.
Only one flathead will be weighed for the side pot.
If you do not have your weigh-in slip, you will be disqualified.
We will be releasing the fish, once weighed, back into Pymatuning Lake. If the fish are not HEALTHY and ALIVE at the scales, or do not swim away once released, this will be cause for disqualification.
The Duck and Drake LLC is not responsible for any theft or injury that may occur during the event. You must obey all state fishing regulations. (20hp restriction on Pymatuning Lake)
Fishing is allowed only on the main lake, not the spillway or below the dam.
Use of any launch is allowed after shotgun start.
Each team must keep 100yd from any other team on the water.
All ties are to be settled by a coin toss, and all tournament director decisions are final.
Fishing will be from 7am to 4pm
$50 per team and $10 for big Channel
$10 side pot for Largest Flathead
100% Payout
Payouts will be: 60% - 1st place 30% - 2nd place 10% - 3rd Place 1 Big Fish winner
1 Largest Flathead Winner (If no flathead is brought in, the pot rolls over to the next tournament.)
Youth Angler Award will be given to the team with the highest weight and a youth (Under 16 years of age) on their team.
