RUN FOR THE TREES: HAPPY LITTLE 5K: PYMATUNING STATE PARK 2026
Inspired by the late artist Bob Ross and his love for the beauty of nature, this 3.1-mile event will be celebrated April 25th at Pymatuning State Park.
🎨Run begins at 11:00am. Plant 250 deddication planting at 10:30am. Address: 7001 Pymatuning Lake Road, Andover Ohio, 44003. Participants can complete the 5K run or walk.
The event is FREE but participants that register online receive a Happy Little T-shirt, a commemorative bib number, and a finisher’s medal. Registration closes on April 1st.
🎁T-shirts, bib numbers, and finisher’s medals will NOT be available for purchase at the event.

🌳Registration is NOT required to participate at the Pymatuning 5k. Please bring your own drinks and snacks as supplies will be limited. We hope to see you there!
🌲Since 2004, this program has helped plant more than 100,000 native trees, shrubs, and plants in state parks and public lands—and Ohio is proud to be one of 17 states participating this year.
🌱If you can’t make it to our hosted event, you can do it virtually on your own! Go run, walk, bike, paddle, skate, or roll—anywhere outdoors, on your own schedule from April 18–26, 2026.
