For The Love of House returns to The Old Cigar & Olive Folkestone on Friday, 12th June, bringing together a powerful line-up of DJs for a night dedicated to pure house music energy from 2005 to 2015— and we are excited to welcome the incredible Dj Able Gimme Groove to the decks.Known for delivering uplifting, soulful and groove-filled sets that light up dancefloors, Dj Able Gimme Groove has become a respected name within the UK house music scene. With more than 20 + years behind the decks, he has built a loyal following through his infectious blend of soulful house, vocal house and underground grooves, creating an atmosphere that keeps crowds moving from start to finish.
A regular voice on the airwaves through his renowned (past radio station) Gimme Groove radio show on Rinse FM, DJ Able has also gained recognition for his productions and releases on respected labels including Groove Odyssey, King Street Sounds and Tribe Records. His passion for authentic house music, combined with his smooth mixing style and high-energy performances, has seen him play alongside some of the biggest names in the scene and at events across the UK.
Joining him for this special edition of For The Love of House will be Carlos Florez, Kerry Djladykay Crook, Stevens Good, aka Steve FeelGood, and Nikk & Kaleb, promising an unforgettable night of house music, uplifting energy, and dancefloor connection at one of Folkestone’s favourite music venues.
This special event is completely FREE ENTRY and will run from 8PM right through until 4AM (Subject to Licence), delivering eight hours of quality house music, soulful grooves, classic vocals, underground energy, and hands-in-the-air moments.
