So you’ve knit a sweater, crocheted a blanket, embroidered a wall hanging, and woven a tapestry; how are your hands? Fiber arts can be hard on your hands, yarn often absorbs the natural oils of your skin and can leave you dry, flaky, or itchy.
Enter Elizabeth to save the day! As a stubborn (and vain) creative, her motto is “Don’t Buy What You Can Make For Less!” For more than 15 years, she’s been tinkering and blending different organic oils to create the ultimate cleansing and moisturizing oils for face and body.
During this workshop you’ll learn about different carrier oils (coconut, almond, jojoba, and more), as well as different nourishing oils (rose hip, vitamin e, sea bukthorn). Elizabeth will share her tried and true recipes, then, you’ll create your own perfectly blended oil. Choose between a cleansing oil that melts dirt or makeup from your skin, or a moisturizing oil to rehydrate face and hands. And yes, a hand blended oil lovingly crafted from organic ingredients makes a wonderful holiday gift.
