DIY Clay Coasters & Figures (Week 2 – Painting)
About this Event
DIY Clay Coasters & Figures is a relaxed, hands-on workshop where we'll explore the simple joy of making something with our own hands. No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to have a go.
This week we'll welcome back our handmade clay creations, ready to transform them with colour, pattern and personality.
We'll begin with tea, coffee, biscuits and a catch-up before exploring different ways to paint and decorate our dried clay coasters and figurines. Whether you'd like a bright splash of colour, delicate patterns or something inspired by nature, you'll have plenty of time to experiment at your own pace.
We'll also look at simple finishing touches to help your creations stand out, turning last week's sculptures into keepsakes, gifts or practical pieces for your home.
The session is relaxed, creative and sociable, with plenty of encouragement, conversation and opportunities to admire each other's work.
If you didn’t attend last week, no worries at all, you’re welcome to come along and sculpt your clay and paint it at home.
Summer at SWAMP
This event runs as part of our Summer at SWAMP series. Join Stravaig Creative Arts for six weeks of fun, accessible Arts & Crafts workshops. Each of the six workshops will explore a different creative method. You are welcome to come to them all or pick and choose what interests you.
Please note that children under 14 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.
We advise advance booking to avoid disappointment.
