Divorce Options Workshop (Online)

Divorce Options® is a monthly public education workshop open to those who want to learn more about the process of divorce or separation.

Monthly workshops are presented via video conference on Saturdays from 9:00-Noon (Pacific time). There is no cost to attend the online workshop.

• The workshops are presented by a family law attorney, a divorce financial specialist and a mental health professional.

• Learn the advantages and disadvantages of the four divorce process options: Do-It-Yourself, Mediation, Collaborative Divorce and Traditional Representation (Litigation).

• Understand the legal, financial, psychological, and social issues of divorce.

• Learn how to talk about divorce with your children.

• Divorce Options® workshops are open to all individuals and couples in California who are contemplating separation or divorce:

o Whether married, domestic partners or cohabiting

o Whether same or opposite gender

o With or without children

After attending the workshop, you will receive a 17-page Guest Handbook which covers everything discussed in the workshop and more. You will also receive a list of professionals who offer a 30-minute no cost telephone or video conference consultation. All the professionals are experienced in the four divorce process options covered in the workshop.
