To celebrate local, interesting music, The Holloway now hosts regular Diving Deep Sessions. Each session will start off with an interview, a support act and, after coming up for air, a live session from the headline act themselves.

Dog at the Opera

Dog At The Opera is a genre-bending four-piece from Norwich, blending raw energy with thoughtful songwriting. Their sound bridges cathartic mosh pit and the intimacy of a late-night conversation, offering music that is both powerful and reflective.

Formed in 2025, they draw inspiration from the shoegaze scene of the late '80s and early '90s, blending fuzzy tones and atmospheric sounds. George and Maisie began their musical journey together, fueled by their shared love for bands like Julie, Feeble Little Horse, Slowdive, and The Cure. Recognising their friends Connor and Rowan's passion for similar genres, they invited them to join the project.

They have recently released their debut album, ‘Deep Breath In’, along with a full-length music video shot on 80’s VHS cameras.
