About this Event
April is World Austism Awareness Month
Join us for an evening with husband and wife team Kelly and Hester Grainger, co-founders of Perfectly Autistic, for a relaxed and honest conversation about autism, ADHD (AuDHD) and the overlap between the two.
Combining their lived experience, Kelly as autistic and ADHD, Hester diagnosed with ADHD in her forties, with their professional work, they’ll explore:
- Why autism and ADHD is often missed in adults
- The overlap and how AuDHD shows up differently
- The impact of masking and burnout
- Relationships, family life and navigating diagnosis
- What “unmasking” can look like in everyday life
- How to understand your brain with more clarity and kindness
This conversation is for anyone diagnosed or self-identified; parents of children on the pathway or diagnosed, grandparents wanting to better understand and support family members and neurodivergent allies.
You’ll leave with a greater understanding, practical insight and reassurance that you’re not alone.
It isn’t a productivity talk, it’s a warm, open and honest discussion talking about the highs, the lows and everything in-between!
Tickets are free and include a complimentary drink on arrival.
