Make a splash at Pride’s first ever Dive-In Movie Night—a fun, affirming evening for all! Float, play, or simply relax in the Bell Aliant Centre pools as we screen the film Wicked (Part 1).
Bring your favourite floatie (inner tubes are best!) or use one of the provided inflatables, take a spin down the waterslide, chill in the hot tub or relax pool side while taking in our film showing on the big screen!
Enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments in our pool side lounge area.
Gender-neutral change spaces are available—come as you are and dive into a night of joy, comfort, and connection.
Accessibility Considerations:
Event takes place in the Aquatics Centre with numerous pools of varying temperatures.
Signage will be available for designated splash zones & chill zones, however all pools are in one room so there will be crossover of sound between pools.
Limited seating available pool side
The aquatics facility is accessible to persons of any ability level. Change rooms offer wheelchair accessible dressing areas and showers. The gender neutral changing room is equipped with changing rooms and lockers reserved for individuals with visual impairment. A water-wheelchair, wheelchair lift, and a set of portable stairs which are designed to eliminate strain caused by ladders are available.
The leisure pool has a ramp which begins at zero depth to accommodate users with limited mobility.
Gender Neutral change room is available as well as single stall change room availability in all change rooms.
Water proof Trans tape will be provided and made available in all change rooms.
This event includes lights & amplified sound.
