District 5 Arts Summit

Join the Office of Councilmember Caity Maple for the District 5 Arts Summit, an evening designed to bring together artists, creatives, and cultural leaders from across Sacramento. This event offers aspiring and emerging artists the opportunity to connect with one another, hear from experienced voices in the creative community, and learn about the many pathways available to build a sustainable career in the arts.

Our goal is to equip attendees with the knowledge, resources, and connections needed to flourish within Sacramento’s growing creative economy. Through conversation and community building, we hope to highlight how artists can collaborate with local organizations, participate in public art opportunities, and play an active role in shaping the cultural life of our city.

From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, guests will have the opportunity to network with fellow creatives while enjoying food, drinks, and music.

From 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, attendees will hear from a panel of experts in a moderated conversation exploring topics such as the creative economy, professional development for artists, and opportunities for collaboration with public institutions.
