About this Event
We are excited to invite you to the opening event of our association, the Disruptive Material Institute, on April 5th and 6th , 2025, at Kunsthaus KuLe, Auguststraße 10, Berlin.
The Disruptive Material Institute has been founded by the designers Sara Díaz Rodríguez, Juni Sun Neyenhuys, Essi Johanna Glomb, and Malu Lücking.
It will be a place where research, innovation, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration come together to promote a socially and ecologically sustainable future for materials and textiles. Based in Berlin, we are creating a network that connects science, education, design, and culture to jointly develop solutions to the challenges of our time.
The Disruptive Material Institute invites all those who are passionate about sustainable and collaborative innovations. Together, we are laying the foundation for a regenerative, inclusive, and future-ready world.
