About this Event

Join us for a fascinating talk by Norfolk Wildlife Trust Ambassador Nick Acheson, exploring the unique beauty and importance of the chalk rivers that flow through Norfolk, including Norwich’s own River Wensum. Learn what makes these rare and internationally important waterways so special, how they support an incredible diversity of wildlife, and the challenges they face today.

The event will also feature a short presentation from Elle Claiborn, Norfolk Rivers Trust's Senior Citizen Science Officer, highlighting the importance of citizen science monitoring of Norfolk’s rivers, and the vital role healthy waterways play in supporting wildlife and local communities.
