About this Event
Discover Bradford Beck, the City's underground river, integral to its historical development. We'll follow the Plaque Trail through the City centre, following the underground route of the Bradford Beck, and hear tales of medieval mills, breweries, tanners, strikes, floods, bridges and buildings. And uncover a winning poem.
Led by Friends of Bradford’s Becks volunteer and social historian Irene Lofthouse. On the flat, crossing main roads.
LENGTH: (0.8km, 0.5m).
DURATION: Approx. 1 hr
TERRAIN: A flat walk on pavements, one set of steps to descend. Care needed when crossing roads.

PARKING: There are several car parks in Bradford city centre.
BUS: Interchange five minutes walk.
