About this Event

The Discover 4-H series of workshops is an engaging program designed to introduce youth to the wide range of opportunities available through 4-H. These hands-on, interactive workshops cover various topics, including science, agriculture, arts, leadership, and more, allowing participants to explore their interests while building valuable skills. Open to youth ages 5-7 and 8-10, this program allows for creative knowledge and skill development in a supportive and fun environment. Whether participants are new to 4-H or seasoned members, the workshops provide a platform for learning and personal growth, while emphasizing the 4-H motto of "Learning by Doing." Join us each month as we explore a new topic:

This youth program introduces participants to the important role pollinators play in nature. Youth will learn how pollinators like butterflies, bees, and other insects help plants grow and produce food. Through fun activities and discussion, participants will explore why protecting pollinators is important for our environment. The program will conclude with a special butterfly release, allowing youth to observe these amazing pollinators up close and celebrate their role in supporting healthy ecosystems.
