LOL: Love Out Loud is a 1 Day, Pop-Up, Mini Festival Experience at 7th West in Oakland. LOL is Family Friendly until 9pm, when it will transition to a 21+ event.

This year, LOL will be celebrating the Spring Equinox, the Season of Rebirth and the Power of Feminine Energy. With a genuine commitment to creating a mini festival that is affordable and homegrown, LOL will feature a fierce line up of Babes & Baddies from the Bay.

💗 WHY THE LOL??? 💗

Since our inception, Disco Donutz and Heavy Petting Zoo have passionately embraced Radical Inclusion in the hopes of creating a dance commUnity that welcomes All Identities, and when appropriate, all ages, including children, parents and grandparents.

LOL is a re-envisioned opportunity for us, as a commUnity, to enthusiastically embrace and nurture Radical Self Expression. Yes, Radical Self Expression can be dressing like a weirdo, but for us, it also goes beyond what we wear or how we present. Authentic Radical Self Expression is also feeling free and safe to Love Who We Want openly, proudly and publicly.

LOL is also about Self Love and Self Appreciation. Each of us contributes to building this amazing commUnity we are all a part of. When we embrace and love ourselves, that positive energy is absorbed and magnified throughout our commUnity when we gather to dance and celebrate. Loving others starts with loving ourselves.

🚸 KIDZ CORNER 🚸

To help keep the kiddos smiling and having fun we will be activating Kidz Corner from 4-6pm. We will have free face painting, temporary tattoos, superhero masks, button making and cotton candy available so arrive early with the littles!

When attending Disco Donutz events, we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe at all times. Guests should be able to dress, dance, and express themselves freely without feeling uncomfortable or objectified. The way we achieve this as a commUnity is by always asking for clear, explicit and enthusiastic Verbal Consent.
