Taking inspiration from the roots of dance music and known for their innovative venue decor, Dirtee Dog and Rush (formerly known as Space Ravers) bring a new experience to the Old Firestation. Coming along for the journey, none other than - "The Trip"
The Trip is a DJ and production project by Max van Dijk and Oliver Hiam, who are the founders of the long-established party and label Tessellate. After a decade of hosting events and DJing at Corsica Studios, the duo began releasing music under the name “The Trip” in 2020.
Their sound is shaped by experiences at Tessellate, where they've had the privilege of witnessing some of their favorite DJs perform. Unforgettable moments on the dancefloor have inspired their music, and now they’re enjoying support from many of the artists they’ve booked over the years. Sonically, they draw on UKG, progressive, tech house, and house elements from the '90s onward, weaving these influences into a distinctive, sample-heavy style.
