About this Event
On Sunday, March 9, in a celebration of mindful sourcing, sustainable practices, and vibrant culinary artistry, Paradise Farms partners with Essensia at The Palms and Chef de Cuisine Diana Tandia to take you on a journey of transcendental Mediterr-Asian flavor. With a commitment to purity, freshness, and taste, and a philosophy that supports locally grown produce and all-natural farms, this is a partnership that was always meant to be.
The Chef: Chef Diana Tandia's culinary story is a rich fusion of heritage and exploration, rooted in the flavors of her Northern and West African upbringing and elevated by her travels across Asia. Her journey led her to the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York City, where she trained under culinary legends Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Daniel Boulud. With a bold and distinctive style, Chef Tandia masterfully intertwines African, French, and Asian influences, crafting dishes that honor the integrity of fresh, wholesome ingredients.
The Menu: Chef Diana Tandia will artfully weave a story of Mediterr-Asian flavor, as she draws on her African heritage and classical French training to showcase the premium, seasonal ingredients, harvested from the soils beneath your feet. With every dish, the harmony and art of fine dining in tune with the Earth’s bounty will be told.
The Ingredients: Fresh, organic fruit and vegetables, handpicked from the regenerative fields of Paradise Farms, are combined with locally-sourced products.
The Wine: Perfectly paired to accompany each dish, accentuate subtle flavors, and refresh the palate, each wine served plays an important role in the overall taste experience from beginning to end.
The Table: A grand, family-style table is arranged and dressed to encourage conversation and togetherness; interaction and community.
The Guests: Dinners in Paradise is the perfect excuse for a unique group of individuals, passionate about food, community, nature, and sustainability, to come together, enjoy the moment, and begin to manifest a future that's brighter than today.
The Experience: The iconic Dinners in Paradise series, beautifully orchestrated by Karla & Dylan Dascal, is a distinctive farm-to-fork encounter that warmly beckons guests to step into the world of organic regenerative dining. The intention-setting experience begins with a private, on-foot tour of our farm, unveiling its intriguing history and sacred construction principles. Immersed in the calming nature of our serene and verdant surroundings, guests are then invited to enjoy a one-off, thoughtfully curated, menu that blends the signature mastery of the guest chef with fresh, nutrient-dense, organic produce, handpicked from the soils at Paradise Farms and selected from local quality providers.
The Place: Paradise Farms, Homestead, FL. In a 17-acre marvel of green, lush fertility, located just beyond Miami's urban core, Paradise Farms stands as a testament to intention setting, sustainability, local landscape, and regenerative agriculture. It's a transformative haven, integrating the wisdom of Feng Shui and Sacred Geometry, advocating a harmonious symphony with the land.
Every dish will reflect seasonality and celebrate the land’s abundance while honoring the rhythms of nature—a true farm-to-fork experience, impossible to repeat. Pause, savor, and connect with the Earth. Taste the energy of a story told through flavor
The Foundation: A portion of the proceeds from Dinners in Paradise supports the Paradise Farms Foundation, a South Florida non-profit that funds holistic farming educational programs, promotes sustainable agriculture, and advocates holistic living. Focused on integrative wellness and regenerative farming, we promote sustainable practices to drive positive change locally and individually. We give back by educating on regenerative methods and engaging the community. Unsold produce is donated to a Homestead community fridge, part of Buddy System Miami’s food access program, supporting those in need while reducing food waste.
