Enjoy a delicious Brazilian Rice and Beans dinner cooked by FlushFest's own Gustavo Furtado. (Please RSVP here to give us an idea of how many he is cooking for. https://www.facebook.com/events/2070255900060234/)Musical entertainment by the Color and Light Community Choir, followed by an eclectic program of short films presented by Tom Whiteside.
With silent films and more modern fare as well, this show includes 1920’s aeronautical thrills (wing walking, parachuting from balloons); a ridiculously large marching band playing “76 Trombones” in and around an empty shopping mall; Mississippi farmer Tom Johnson and his very special pigs; “Princess Nicotine; or, The Smoke Fairy” (J. Stuart Blackton, 1909); and a Charlie Chaplin two-reel comedy from 1917, “The Adventurer.” Presented in 16mm film.
Dinner: 6:00 PM - $20/person
Movie: 7:30 PM - $10/person
