Meet Your Traditional Practitioner
Hadizatu is a traditional and clinical herbalist whose practice sits at the powerful intersection of their ancestral lineages: the Hausa and Fulani tribes of Nigeria and the rich, soulful bayous of Louisiana.
With one foot in clinical knowledge and the other rooted deeply in ancestral, spirit-led earth medicine, Hadizatu bridges the gap between West African botanical traditions and Black American foodways. Their teaching is down to earth, deeply intuitive, and grounded in the belief that food is our first and most potent medicine.
Who Is This For?
Whether you are a seasoned home cook, an aspiring herbalist, or someone looking to reconnect with cultural foodways, this space is held for you. No prior herbalism or cooking experience is required!
