Diabetes Education and Exercise Program (DEEP)

DEEP (Diabetes Education and Exercise Program) is a 14-week program that is focused on helping you manage your Type 2 diabetes through healthy lifestyle changes. Our class is designed and led by Healthpark Dietitians and Exercise Physiologist to help you learn more about Type 2 diabetes management and lifestyle recommendations. Your participation in DEEP also includes three visits with our Lifestyle Medicine Physician who will interpret your health metrics, assist with goal setting, and provide additional encouragement to help you attain those goals. Each hour-long class will include 30 minutes of nutrition, exercise, sleep, or stress education—and you’ll get 30 minutes of exercise during each class. A referral to our program is required and visits will be billed through your insurance. Classes begin in June 2026 at the Healthpark.
