Join us for a heartfelt evening where movement, memory, and mission come together. Día de los Downdogs is a celebration of the dogs who have shaped our lives, a gathering for our animal welfare community, and a chance to reconnect with ourselves in a deeply meaningful way.Inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos, this event is an evening to celebrate, grieve, and honor the human-animal bond that never fades. It’s also a chance to come together as a community — people, pups, and advocates — united by compassion and the belief that every dog deserves their best life.
✨ What to Expect:
🧘♀️ All-levels yoga class: Designed to ground you, open your heart, and invite connection.
🕯️ Candle making workshop (add-on): Craft a candle in memory of a beloved pet.
🔮 Oracle readings (add-on): A chance to reflect and receive insight.
🐕🦺 Ofrenda viewing: A stunning, shared altar where we honor the dogs we’ve loved and lost. Bring a photo or memento if you’d like to include one.
🍽️ Food + Drinks: Nourish yourself with thoughtfully made snacks.
🛍️ Local Vendors: Including Bow + Hoop, Fright Bites, Queen of Roses, and more. We’ll also have pet loss gift boxes, coloring books, and oracle decks available.
👕 Limited-Edition Event Shirts: Pre-order your Día de los Downdogs shirts by October 15 to receive them at the event. You can also order them at the event and have them shipped to you at a later date.
Proceeds support AZK9 Rescue, helping dogs in need find safety, love, and a second chance.

Tickets are just $30 and include yoga, raffle entry, food + drinks, and ofrenda viewing. Add-on experiences like candle making and oracle readings will be available for an additional donation on the day of the event. This is an open house event so we encourage you to join even if you don't plan to do yoga! Select "No Yoga, Just Vibes" at checkout. 🥰
