The Four ImmeasurableThis is an opportunity to join the monks for a teaching on how loving kindness, compassion, joyful effort, and equanimity, leading to the development of Bodhichitta, or the awakened mind. This teaching, the practice and prayer you will learn, is foundational to Mahayana Buddhism and very useful as we learn to navigate this world with motivation for the alleviating of suffering for all sentient beings. You will leave with a prayer used daily by the Dalai Lama and most practicing Mahayana Buddhist.
Suggested donation: $15 - $20
This event is part of the Sacred Earth & Healing Arts of Tibet Tour offered by the Tibetian Buddhist Monks of Gaden Shartse Monastic University.
