Developing an Art History of Pomona Valley with Dr. Wendy Slatkin

Dr. Wendy Slatkin, author of Art and Community in California’s Pomona Valley, 1930-1980 will present a slideshow lecture describing the process by which her book was created. Dr. Slatkin will discuss the criteria used for the selection of artists, the overall rational for the organization of the book, and define the main archival sources and bibliographic references on which the book is based.
Dr. Slatkin will be available for book signing following the presentation.
