Destination Rest: A Community Nap

with Poet Laureate of the Pikes Peak Region Ashley Cornelius. Live sound bath, tea, poetry, and rest!

Bring your own sleep materials and anything that helps you rest. If you need materials (yoga mat, blanket ), we will have them available. Attendees will be invited to grab a cup of tea, d relax to the sounds of original affirmation poetry from the Poet Laureate of the Pikes Peak Region Ashley Cornelius, and a healing sound bath. Participants will be invited to rest/sleep. At the close of the event, attendees will be led through a creative art exercise in Surface Gallery exhibit to promote artistic expression and share in a community discussion about rest.
