Design in VR Workshops

Event: Introduction to 3D Modelling in VR, VR + AI Design, VR + AI Design

Venue: Library Hub Staines Upon Thames

Date(s): 28th, 29th, 30th October 2025

Time of workshops: 9am to 12pm each day

Age Restriction: 13-24 years

Workshop 1: Introduction to 3D Modelling in VR: Real-world examples from professionals and brands like Netflix, Nike, Puma, and Adidas. Hands-on group experience in VR: exploring tools and techniques in a fun, creative way. Outcome: each student builds a character or product and views it in AR (they can take photos with it)

Workshop 2: VR + AI Design Students build 3D surfaces and enhance them using AI tools. Focus on creativity, digital exploration, and emerging industry workflows

Workshop 3: Certified Designer Level Students receive a Certified Designer digital badge (can be added to LinkedIn profiles). Learn advanced 3D modelling, portfolio building, cloud-based sharing. Present work outside of VR and explore file export for 3D printing.
