Join Desert Love at Cactus Joe’s to help grow native plants for our desert! 🌵
We thought we might have to take a break from volunteer events this season, but they’re so essential to the work we do that we found a way to keep them going. Thank you to every volunteer who has helped us get here. We couldn’t do it without you!
New this season: a larger window. Swing by anytime between 7:30am and 11:30am and stay for as long as you can. Whether you have 30 minutes or the whole morning, we’d love to have you, and every bit of help counts.
What we’ll be doing:
🌱 October and November: Transplanting native plants
🌱 December: Planting native plants in the ground to use as seed sources
Dates:
Saturday, October 24 (transplanting)
Saturday, November 7 (transplanting)
Friday, December 11 (planting)
Saturday, December 12 (planting)
Time: 7:30am to 11:30am. Come and go anytime during that window.
Where: Cactus Joe’s, 12740 Blue Diamond Rd.
What to bring: [Add: water, sun protection, closed-toe shoes, gloves, etc.]
