NV Nursery Professional Training Program

NV Nursery Professional provides an opportunity for green industry workers and others to expand their knowledge and experience.
About this Event

Sponsored by the University of Nevada Extension, NV Nursery Professional Training Program is an extensive course designed and presented by subject matter experts and green industry professionals. It provides an opportunity for plant nursery workers and others to expand their knowledge on topics that include:

• Plant biology
• Tree Selection and Care
• Irrigation
• Plant Taxonomy
• Desert Plants
• Soil and Fertilizers

In person labs promote:

• Team building
• Hands on learning
• Investigation of subjects
• Resource exploration

The session begins on November 16th and continues through February 4th.

Classes are held in person on Mondays and Thursdays from 2pm - 5pm at the University of NV Extension southern area campus - 8050 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89123.

Registration is $300 per person which includes textbooks, materials and refreshments.
