Everyone has dead people; and what is remembered, lives.
As the nights get longer, and less time is spent together, we reflect on the past. Join us as we celebrate our dead; be they by blood, choice, or circumstances, and reflect on what it means to be alive.
Within sacred space, we will be creating ritually blessed candles to act as lanterns, guiding our blessed ancestors back to us to share their wisdom and blessings, to be used in a guided meditation to the Underworld lead by Ashley.
We ask that you please bring:
-an item that reminds you of your dead for the community altar
-an achor, something to help guide you back from the underworld if need be
-a dish for the post ritual pitch in
-reusable dish, cutlery, and cup
-5-10 dollar donation for supplies and space
We will gather from 6-7, with the ritual beginning at 7. Please be respectful of others and arrive before 7.
None of these items are required and no one will be turned away. We look forward to you joining us on our Descent into Darkness; since what's remembered, lives.
