Join us for a special late-night creative workshop pairing sustainable fashion with sweet treats. In this hands-on session, you will learn how to repurpose denim scraps and thrifted jeans into a stylish, durable patchwork tote bag.

It is the ultimate combination of eco-friendly upcycling, hands-on sewing, and late-night studio vibes!

What You Will Learn

• Upcycling basics: Working with reclaimed denim and heavy fabrics
• Patchwork design and layout techniques
• Combining textures and color blocks for a custom look
• Sewing heavy-duty seams and adding reinforced handles
• Structuring corners and finishing interior seams

The Peach Cobbler Factory – Takoma

📍 6908 4th St NW, Washington, DC 20012

Located in the heart of Takoma, DC, right near the MD/DC line.

Metro: Red Line to Takoma Station — Less than a 3-minute walk to the venue! Exit the station and head straight down 4th St NW.

Driving & Parking: Free and meter street parking are available on 4th St NW and surrounding residential blocks. (Tip: Since evening classes start after 5:00 PM, parking is usually easy to find along the street!)

Building & Venue Access:

Ground-floor entry with direct street-level access (no stairs, elevators, or door codes required!).

Fully wheelchair accessible.

Head inside, grab a seat in our reserved workshop area, and feel free to order a sweet treat from the counter before class starts!

Supplies: All sewing machines, tools, threads, and fabrics are provided on site. You don't need to bring a thing—just bring your creativity!
