Afro-Latin rhythms trace their roots to African musical traditions carried across the Atlantic through the African diaspora. In countries such as Cuba, Brazil and Puerto Rico, African drumming, polyrhythms, call-and-response singing, and dance traditions blended with European and Indigenous influences, giving rise to musical genres including Salsa, Samba, Son Cubano, and Rumba.
What makes Afro-Latin music so influential is its vibrant energy. Over time, these rhythms travelled across the world, reaching Asia and inspiring musicians in countries such as Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, and Indonesia. Local artists combined Latin rhythms with traditional instruments and melodies, creating unique cultural fusions that continue to thrive today.

✅ Free Entry�❤️ Community donations are welcome and will support our educational youth programmes exploring Latin American arts and culture.
This event marks the beginning of a growing community dedicated to authentic live Latin music and cultural experiences, with many more events planned in the months ahead.
