About this Event
Even as abilities change, the need for purpose, identity, and spiritual comfort remains. This session explores how caregivers can support meaning, dignity, and inner peace throughout the dementia journey.
This session is part of the ABC Dementia Care Empowerment Series, hosted by Sagebrush Speech Therapy and facilitated by ABC Dementia Care.
Session Focus
Vocational & Spiritual Needs: Purpose, Identity & Inner Peace
We will explore:
- Preserving identity and sense of self
- Meaningful roles and contributions
- Legacy, forgiveness, and reflection
- Supporting spiritual comfort in inclusive ways
You’ll leave with reassurance that connection, purpose, and peace are still possible.
What to Expect
- Brief, practical education grounded in the Six Human Needs framework
- Open discussion and shared problem‑solving
- Space for connection, validation, and support
This is not a clinical lecture. It is a gentle, supportive conversation.
Each session may be attended individually, allowing you to join the topics that feel most supportive for you right now.
