Confusion, repeated questions, and overwhelm are often signs that the brain is working too hard. This session helps caregivers understand cognitive load and adjust routines and environments to reduce stress.

Mental Needs: Routine, Cognitive Load & Rightsized Stimulation

We will explore:

• Why routines support cognitive safety
• How overstimulation increases distress
• Supporting understanding without overwhelming
• Communication strategies that reduce mental strain

You’ll leave with practical tools to simplify care and create calmer daily experiences.

• Brief, practical education grounded in the Six Human Needs framework
• Open discussion and shared problem‑solving
• Space for connection, validation, and support

This is not a clinical lecture. It is a gentle, supportive conversation.

Each session may be attended individually, allowing you to join the topics that feel most supportive for you right now.
