degaussing rites and burn-in ghosts is a new multimedia work by local artist Tanner Jones that explores the relationship between memory, loss, and consumerism through decaying, obselete technology. old consumer-grade CRT tvs/computer monitors, VCRs, DVD players, desktop speakers, gaming consoles, and lamps autonomously perform their history and their deterioration.

three showings take place April 12th in CRASHBOX at 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm. tickets are COMPLETELY FREE, but please reserve your ticket ahead of time, as each screening has a small amount of seating. parking is available on the property and is free!
