In this session, Bradley Tuck from Exploding Appendix will introduce the idea for a project to compile a selection of Manifestos for Brighton, Hove, and the surrounding area. This will include a brief introduction to the concept of manifestos, how they have been applied to cities, and a practical discussion about how we can create and compile our own manifestos.
The aim of this session is to offer a space for us to come together and think creatively and collaboratively about the arts and culture of the city, and how we can strengthen it. We understand arts and culture in a broad sense, encompassing not only the arts but also education, sport, social life, and community organizing. Through these sessions, we aim to create a vision for a vibrant and inclusive our city, and it's future.
