In 2024, we celebrated our 10th anniversary with a deep dive on soil. In 2025, we celebrated our 11th season focusing on roots. This year, we are celebrating our 12th anniversary with a deep dive on stems and trunks! It’s impossible not to become a better gardener when you hang out with our pal Sara, who will walk us through the function and importance of stems and trunks. And as an added bonus, we are including a snack potluck of your favorite stem-focused dishes. Asparagus anyone?? Come hang out with us and share your famous ants-on-a-log. As always though, you are always welcome to just bring you. Sara Rose reminds us: Stems that you may not realize are stem:: ginger, white potato, celeriac (often called celery root, but not celery which is a petiole) tumeric, kohlrabi, onion (mixed and and stem) bamboo shoots, water chestnut, sugar cane, asparagus, leeks, taro, and heats of palm!
Huzzah!
