Deep Creek Preserve Hike

The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to join Education Specialist Tommy Nordmann on a 6-mile hike through Deep Creek Preserve. We'll take a short ride on the eco-buggy to the trailhead, and then explore a large section of the preserve on the white trail.

** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.

ACTIVITY: This will be a moderate to difficult 6-mile hike.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.

TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.

AGES: Experienced adult hikers only.

ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing for the outdoors

WHAT TO BRING: water, bug spray, sunscreen, snacks, lunch, and a sense of adventure

FACILITIES: There will be a port-a-potty but no running water.
