Decolonizing Adoption & Creative Resistance

As reproductive sovereignty and human rights continue to be attacked across the globe, the conversation around children's rights, education, and adoption, especially transracial and transnational adoption, are changing.
This season, #DecolonizingAdoption is diving into the gardens and art spheres of creative resistance. Adoptees acorss communities and colorlines are coming together in a collaborative, community series to infuse voice and visions into workshops, film screenings, that explore and expand on topics about adoption, identity, joy, healing, and reunion with family, community, and the self.

This is a virtual series was dreamed up & organized by liberation weaver + adoptee Nyasha Williams (@writingtochangethenarrative) and historian Sidney Rose (@rosecolored_scholar).
