This month we're hosting a tasting like we've never had before and will fulfill a wish that has been requested many times. This one will be caffeine free!
But how is that possible, you may ask, when tea by its very nature contains caffeine? Because we'll be using everything but the leaves. This tasting will feature aged tea seeds, yellowed tea stems, baked tea flowers and fresh ya bao (branch shoots). If you’ve ever wondered what tea tastes like when you step beyond the leaf, this is the place to be.
Come taste the subtleteas that most drinkers never meet.
*full disclosure, tea stems do have very small amounts of caffeine
