The Reading Theater Project will present a staged reading of my new play, "Deb's Dresses" on one night only in the Goggleworks' Boscov Theater in Reading, PA. Tickets are pay-what-you-decide. It would be great to see some familiar faces and to get feedback from my old theater friends in the area (some of whom know this play).The reading will be directed by Patrick O'Neill and stage managed by Jody Reppert. It will feature performances from Libby Casey Stauffer, Jill O'Neill, Robert Bara Popa, Molly Carl, and others.
Play Overview:
Most of us know it’s the right thing to help people who are struggling, especially if they’re family. But what do you do when that someone betrays your trust again and again? In the play “Deb’s Dresses,” the Aronson siblings, Mark and Rachel, are forced to confront these questions when their younger sister, the wayward Becca, returns home to Cleveland, hoping for some kind of lifeline and a clean slate.
