[what is it]A Death Cafe is a group discussion of death with no set agenda, objectives, or themes, where attendees can share thoughts and experiences about death in a respectful and confidential space. The gatherings aim to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo surrounding the topic.

This is not a grief support group, therapy session, or place to push products or religion.

Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month for candid heartfelt conversations with members of the community.
Coffee, tea, water and cookies will be provided.

Melanie Ceraso is a certified Death Midwife who is passionate about breaking the taboo around death and assisting individuals with end of life planning.
Dawn Briskey is a certified end-of-life doula offering in-person and virtual services in the Chippewa Valley of Northwest Wisconsin and beyond. She provides compassionate support for individuals navigating life’s transitions, collaborates with those nearing the end of life and their loved ones, and educates the public about death and dying.
